Bluebirds swing in late
The last time time Cardiff City beat Manchester Unite was 53 years ago in November 1960. Man United have won three games in a row the first time since March.
Manchester United have no Robin Van Persie on the bench or starting line up. Javier Hernandez starts up front also youngster Adnan Januzaj regains his place in the side. A special event for Ryan Giggs who starts on the bench the first time he will play in his home town.

Cardiff have made just one change as Craig Bellamy is dropped to the bench as Peter Odemwingie stars up front with Frazier Campbell. Another positive is Andreas Cornelius who is on the bench after a long spell.

6 minutes into the match when Peter Whittingham had won a free kick 35 yards out in the right. The set piece specialist had whipped in a fantastic cross onto Ben Turner's head but the header had found Spaniard David De Gea down low.
3 minutes later when a controversial decision had gone Man United's way. Striker Wayne Rooney had lashed out Gary Medel and had seemed to fling a leg at him. The referee had given Rooney a yellow but some believe he deserves a red card and should not be on the pitch.
15 minutes into the match when Turner had passed the ball into Antonio Valencia in a deadly position. The number 7 had tried to find Hernandez just ahead of him as the United fans stay standing up in hope. The Mexican had let the pass from Valencia go past as the ball found Rooney. The Englishman with his back to goal had turned and shot at goal as his shot had cannoned off of Medel's heel and gone over keeper Marshall. United fans go crazy away from home Wayne Rooney scores a controversial goal which stuns Cardiff City.
Half way through the first half when Whittingham had been just inside of his own half as Cardiff fans try to lift their side. Whittingham had found Mutch in an attacking position as he had looked up and found a through ball to Frazier Campbell. De Gea closing him down as Campbell took his time and slotted the ball into the left had post leaving De Gea no chance. The Welsh fans erupt in loud volumes as Campbell scores a goal against his old club and scores his third goal against Manchester clubs this season.
One minute until half time when Man United had won a corner on the right. Which Wayne Rooney would take with the United faithful behind him. The ball had found Patrice Evra as he ha lost his marker Medel at the front post and was there to head into the net and put the Red Devils back in front. Evra celebrates his first United goal this season with the crazed United fans in front of him.
At half time and the score is Cardiff 1-2 Man United. A controversial decision not to send Wayne Rooney off which some may have a different opinion. Goals from Wayne Rooney and then Cardiff City equalised through Frazier Campbell but just before the break Patrice Evra's header sent United a goal up into the lead.
Man United have been playing okay but giving away possession very easily the score doesn't reflect the performance of United.
Cardiff City have been the better side and deserves to at least be drawing but their is still 45 minutes left to play after the break.
6 minutes after the restart as United had won a free kick on the left hand side which Rooney would take. The 28 year old had whipped a ball into Marouane Fellaini as he's flick had been heading for the right hand corner but for a great save from Marshall.
2 minutes later as Tom Cleverly had played a misplaced pass had given the ball to Campbell in a promising position just outside the box as De Gea had ventured ever so slowly as Campbell had chipped the ball over the Spaniard. The ball had been looping but had gone an inch off going in as it smacked the crossbar. The bar had kept United in the game.
10 minutes left when a good interchange between English pair Wayne Rooney and substitute Danny Welbeck had set Welbeck in with a golden chance to finish Cardiff off. The ball had been flicked through by Rooney just inside the right hand side but Welbeck had shot just over the left hand bar.
Into injury time when Cardiff had won a free kick on the left hand side of the box as Whittingham had crossed into the box as the Bluebirds hoped that they could get a last gasp goal. The ball into the box had found substitute Bo-Kyung Kim to head past De Gea and give Cardiff a last goal.
At full time and it finishes Cardiff 2-2 Man United a fair result in the circumstances as a late leveller from the Bluebirds made United drop two points.
Man United didn't deserve to win and in the end got the result which was fair. Good performances from Rooney and Johnny Evans.
Cardiff City deserved at least a draw and a set piece settled the result in the end but a well disciplined performance from the Bluebirds.
Next up is a trip to Germany against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
