Captain slams defending
Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has pin pointed the defence to be at fault for their embarrassing 5-3 defeat to Leicester.
The Red Devils were 1-3 up when it came to the 60th minute but fell fault to a gob shocking four goals in the last 30 minutes.
Rooney said after the game "It’s really disappointing,Going 3-1 up especially and then losing the game, it’s hard to take."
Rooney played the full 90 minutes and seemed to be obliterating his players with words as he echoed his aggression and anger after the third goal was conceded.
The game was lucrative to watch within the first 60 minutes with lush football and exceptional class but it was the last 30 which were eye gouging to watch.
He also added “We should have done better as a team, seen the game out and won it from the position we were in. (There were) some mistakes and we didn’t do well enough as a team to stop their goals."
The performance shocked many with defensive errors the key to unlocking our weakness. The subdued atmosphere towards the end of the game portrayed how the feeling about the game was.
Rooney also added “We have to do better; we know that - as a team we have to do better. It’s not nice when you concede goals when you know we can prevent them. Everyone individually as a player knows that."
Personally it was defensive errors with the striker exactly telling us what happened and how it fell to pieces.
I have only been speechless a few times will supporting Manchester United but this has to be one which filled me with complete anger & confusing with a case of how and what.
