Manchester United 3-0 Hull City- BPL Game 13
Manchester United cruised back into fourth place after an unnerving 3-0 destruction job of Hull City.
The passing and shape of the Red Devils were compact as Hull City rarely threatened in front of David De Gea's goal.
The United team were dealt a huge blow when 10 minutes in Angel Di Maria came off with a suspected hamstring problem.
A performance which mirrored a good run of form for United as Chris Smalling on 16 minutes when he fumbled home a goal line scramble.
Dominance was evident in the first half with United controlling 76% of possession and keeping the ball very effectively.
The second goal came just 3 minutes before the break when Robin Van Persie had laid off Wayne Rooney to score his seventh goal in five appearances against Hull City.
A wave of confidence was in the brilliant performance today with intricate passing and pace combined into one performance.
The third goal came in the second half when Robin Van Persie rifled a shot into the top right hand corner. A world class and powerful which undoubtedly increases his confident after such a torrent week.
The best chance for a fourth came in the dying embers when a lushes move had torn open Hull City. Juan Mata's ball across to substitute Radamel Falcao was merely inches from a fantastic return after defensive block on the line.
It was calm and collective from all the Manchester United players today with every single player having a good game which made man of the match increasing difficult.
Louis Van Gaal said:
"It's the first match we've dominated from the first minute to the last in a way that I like. I was very pleased."
"We scored three, created more chances and didn't give any away. That's very good."
Line ups:

Man of the match was a tough one but to me it had to go to Ander Herrera he must have covered every inch of grass at Old Trafford today. His passing was superb and he managed an assist in the mix of the goals.
