Roo's Totting along

Manchester United make a couple of changes as Ryan Giggs and Luis Nani are dropped to the bench.Danny Welbeck who makes his first start since his injury and Tom Cleverly both start in their place.

Tottenham Hotspur make six changes from the side that won 2-0 in mid week. Aaron Lennon and Kyle are just two of the names brought into the side to face Man United.

18 minutes into the match as Paulinho was fouled on the right 20 yards from goal. Kyle Walker had been over the ball as the Tottenham fans had sung In full voice. Walker had drilled the ball under the Man United wall and gone past Spaniard David De Gea as Tottenham fans behind the goal celebrate with each other. That was Walker's third goal for the Club.
 

31 minutes had past in the match as Phil Jones had the ball on the right hand side and had looked for an equaliser. The ball in had flub Walker at the back post as United fans hoped that they could get back into the game as Walker had flicked the ball through to Wayne Rooney. Rooney took his time and had very cleverly volleyed the ball into the top right hand corner no chance for Hugo Lloris as United fans rise to celebrate with Rooney who scores his tenth goal of the season.
 

At half time and the score is Spurs 1-1 Man United. Goals from Walker and Rooney leave the score tied up at the break.

8 minutes after the restart when Sandro had the ball just inside his half and had began to start running at the United defence. Sandro had been met by Cleverly 25 yards out but they had not stopped him as Sandro had shot with power and pace. The Spurs fans had watched it fly into the top right hand corner an absolute fantastic finish from an unusual suspect. That had been Sandro's third goal from Spurs in 94 appearances.
 

2 minutes later as Rooney had threaded a through ball into the box were Welbeck had been met by Lloris as he had tried to claim the ball. Welbeck was tackled by the Frenchman as Man United fans looked with hope and they had got their reward as referee Mike Dean pointed to the spot. The penalty would be taken by Rooney and he didn't miss as he bolted the ball straight down the middle. United fans celebrate with great excitement as Rooney had got his sixth goal in every match he has played at White Hart Lane.
 

65 minutes in when Soldado had been fouled by Nemanja Vidic 30 yards out from goal. Having already scored one free kick Walker's confidence had been high and he would take. The defender had curled a shot just wide of the right hand post.
 

At full time and it finishes Man United 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur a great game very open and an entertainment. Goals from Walker and a brace from Rooney and one to watch from Sandro who scored an absolute belter.
