Manchester United make four changes to the team that beat West Ham on Saturday night as Alexander Buttner, Ashley Young,Darren Flecther and Shinji Kagawa are all dropped as Tom Cleverley, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand and Danny Welbeck all take their place.

Manchester City also make four changes from the side that beat Fulham as Vincent Kompany, Gael Clichy, Jesus Navas & Edin Dzeko replace Joel Lescott, Alexander Kolarov, James Milner & Alvaro Negredo.

43 seconds into the game when David Silva had stormed into the box as he had found an opening but a fantastic last ditch tackle from Rafael had let the ball bounce out onto the edge of the box for a Manchester City player as he had feed it into Samir Nasri on the left hand side as Rafael had slipped. Nasri had been given space to shoot as he's shot had hit the post and found Dzeko at the back post as he had hit the ball into the empty net! City fans go crazy as silence descends upon Old Trafford a shock start for United.25 of Edin Dzeko's 39 Premier League goals have come away from home (64%).

18 minutes into the match as De Gea had kicked the ball out only as far as Yaya Toure. The Africa player of the year had weighted a perfect ball to David Silva the box as United players had called for offside but the Spaniard had been onside as he rolled the ball to Dzeko in space inside the box. The goalscorer a shot had been saved at the right hand post by De Gea as the goalkeeper had saved United from a second goal.

24 minutes into the match as Wayne had the ball on the right hand side and had crossed the ball into the box. The cross had found Welbeck as the England striker had flicked the ball onto Maraoune Fellaini unmarked at the back post as he had set himself on the volley and hit it straight at Joe Hart. 
At half time and it looked as if City were ready to run riot In the first 20 minutes but United have got back in the game.

Manchester United were stunned at the start by City's quick fire goal but since then they have weathered the storm and look to be back in the game.

Manchester City have stepped off a little bit but still look very dangerous going forward and can hurt United if they can finish their chances off.

6 minutes after the restart as Man City had a corner from the right hand side which Nasri would take. The ball into the front post had found Kompany as he had got ahead of his marker. The header which was flicked on found Fernandinho unmarked as he had headed over the bar a great chance.

5 minutes later when a corner from the right hand side had been swung into the box as the City fans had been hoping for a goal as Dzeko had made a run to the front post and finished into the top right hand corner. The City fans had gone crazy with joy as Edin Dzeko was celebrating his 10th goal of the season.
Into injury time when the ball had been given to Yaya Toure on the right hand side with time and space as he had time and space to pick a place out and shoot at goal. The ball had rolled into the right hand corner as United were officially dead and buried.

Full time as United are beaten again in a big game this time by rivals Manchester City, Yaya Toure and a Dzeko brace finishes them off.

Manchester United were poor in the second half and never got going as they suffer a 10th league defeat this season.

Manchester City were powerful and deserved to win and looked comfortable in every area.
