Spaniard excited by World Class striker

Manchester United attacking midfielder Juan Mata has said in his latest blog that he is excited about playing with new signing Radamel Falcao.

The striker Falcao signed to Old Trafford on deadline day in a hectic final few hours before and after the window.

Mata said in his blog "Almost at the end of the transfer window we had a new signing. Not just a player, but a fantastic striker whose ability to score is extraordinary: Radamel Falcao."

Mata signed for Manchester United back in January and was one of David Moyes' last signing in his brief interruption before being terminated.

The midfielder also added "I'am sure he will give a lot to our group, as a person and with his goals, and here I welcome him and I wish him the best for this season."

Since joining the Spaniard has been in a sense prolific scoring seven goals in his first 18 appearances as a Man United player. 

New signing Radamel Falcao tweeted thanking Juan Mata by saying "Thank you Juan Mata for the welcome Man United. I'm excited to be in the pitch with all of you."

Both of them can be influential in the team and will hope to present a deadly attacking threat throughout the season.

The next game is against QPR where both Mata and Falcao will hope to find their names in the team-sheet on Sunday afternoon.
