Devils revenge the Cup
The last time these two teams met in the league it was a 1-4 thrashing for United but a victory for the Swans in the FA Cup game on Sunday will give them some much needed hope.
Manchester United make three changes to the side that lost to Sunderland in the Capital One Cup in mid week as Darren Fletcher, Shinji Kagawa and Chris Smalling come into the side.

Swansea City make four changes from their last game which was against United in the cups as three of the four changes come in defence Ben Davies, Jordi Amat and Angel Rangel all come into the team. The fourth change is Jonathan De Guzman for Jose Cañas in the centre of midfield.

5 minutes into the game as Rafael had been fouled by Jonjo Shelvey on the right hand side. The free kick would be an out swinging one taken by Adnan Januzaj. The cross had been into Patrice Evra as the ball at the back post had hit Rangel and come to Nemanja Vidic inside the box as he's shot had went over the bar.
10 minutes into the game when Danny Welbeck had been fouled on the edge of the area as referee Chris Foy had awarded a free kick. Januzaj and Michael Carrick had been over the ball as the refs whistle blew, the youngster Januzaj would take as his left foot curling free kick had beaten Gerhard Tremmel and hit the bar on the left hand side, the closest chance so far.
10 minutes until half time as Antonio Valencia had played the ball to Januzaj. The youngster had given the ball back to Valencia down the right hand side, Valencia had spotted the run of his right back Rafael and given the ball to him. The ball had found the Brazilian in the box, Rafael had played the ball across to Welbeck who had been unmarked but his shot had gone curling wide of the left hand side of the post.
At half time and the score is still deadlocked as Man United are not wining but not losing at home but it is not a one sided game.
Man United have had the best chances but none have been converted as confidence looks low. The next 45 minutes will need to be more deadly in front of goal.
Swansea City have looked comfortable in possession and have time to pick out passes but will need to get more into the box as they have only touched the ball six times in the United box.
One minute after the restart when United had attacked down the left hand side with Jannuzaj. He had been pressured by Rangel but the 18 year old had found space to cross a ball into the box as United fans began to take their seats for the second half. The ball had found Kagawa at the back post as he's header had been saved fantastically by Tremmel but he had parried the ball out to Valencia as the winger passed the ball with power into the back of the net. Old Trafford had erupted in relief as David Moyes' team had gone in front for the first time this year. Antonio Valencia had scored his first league goal at Old Trafford since Boxing Day 2011.
58 minutes had gone as Januzaj had been given the ball on the right hand side by Kagawa. The midfielder had crosse the ball into the box as United fans had been full of hope after Valencia's opening goal, the cross had been poorly cleared by Chico. The Swansea defender's clearance had rolled out to Evra on the edge of the box as he was pressured by Alex Pozuelo, the left back had hit the ball aiming at Welbeck as the striker flicked a foot at the ball sending it into the bottom right hand corner. United fans celebrate as a second goal gives some confidence and security to this United team. Welbeck has now scored six goals in his last six matches.
Half way through the first half when Michael Carrick had threaded in Kagawa down the left hand side of the box. The Japanese international had taken his time and fizzed a ball into the box were Chris Smalling had been with an almost open goal as he volleys over. Smalling should have scored that as United stay just 2-0 up.
15 minutes left when United cleared corner had found Januzaj on the right hand side deep in his own half. The United no.44 had picked out a wonderful through ball down the line to Rafael as United had been 2 on 1 with Kagawa up with him as well. The Brazilian had travelled with the ball and the gave it to Kagawa in the box as the attacking midfielder had slipped past Ben Davies and shot at goal. Kagawa's shot had been cleared off the line as United are now in control.
At full time and Manchester United run out comfortable winners after a fantastic second half display, Goals from Antonio Valencia and Danny Welbeck.
Manchester United stepped up big time in the second as fantastic performances from Adnan Januzaj and Shinji Kagawa end United's three game losing streak.
Swansea City were good in the first 45 but never really troubled David De Gea who only really had to make one save. The Swans had more possession but did nothing with the ball and will need to improve if they want to improve their league form.
Next up for Man United is a away trip to Stamford bridge to play Chelsea on Sunday 4pm.
